MEET CAMERON
Cameron is the majority owner of Lanterns Restaurant & Tavern which was co-founded with family members Nalani Kay & Wayne Hirakawa. Her family has resided in Wai’anae for generations--it's where she grew up & where she's raising her daughter as well. She got her degree in business management from UH West O'ahu.
It’s always been a dream to bring a nice restaurant to the west side so the community wouldn’t have to drive so far to eat good. She loves being creative & seeing her ideas come to fruition in new dishes & drinks that patrons from near and far can enjoy.

Within a year of opening Lanterns Hawaii she also opened a second restaurant Lilikoi Lounge at the Makaha Valley Country Club. It has been an exhilarating journey & she's so grateful to be able to provide good food & jobs to community members.

Front-of-House
Front-of-house positions are the face of the dining experience. These dedicated individuals create the first impression, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued. These individuals possess a unique blend of charisma, grace, and efficiency. Their expertise lies in making every visit memorable, orchestrating seamless service, and creating an inviting atmosphere.

Bartender - Front of HouseExperience: 2 years of bartending experience. Skills: Mixology, beverage knowledge, customer engagement, and maintaining a clean bar area. Prepare and serve drinks, engage with patrons at the bar, maintain beverage quality, and uphold bar cleanliness.

Host/Hostess - Front of HouseExperience: Experience in a similar role is a plus. Skills: Greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and oversee the flow of customers, ensuring a positive first impression.
